What is the Paws for the Mako Camera Competition?

Place an order with Mako pet supplies, for a lead, harness or both of your choice and use this exclusive one time use code “CANINECOMP20” to get 20% off your order! The Exclusive Discount code will be active from 26th May 2025 to 23rd June 2025. This is to allow you to get your order slightly ahead of the competition opening and the normal turnaround time is 3 Working Days to get your order made and delivered to you! The Paws for the Mako Camera is open to people aged 18 & over and who live within the UK.
How to Enter?
When you receive your order take some photos and get as creative as you like but of course featuring your Mako items you get.
When you enter your photo within the competition the first 75 entries will get their whole order up to the amount of £15 refunded excluding delivery charges. Any entries after that will receive a 50% refund on your order up to the amount of £15 excluding delivery charges. The competition opens on the 1st June 2025 and closes at Midnight on the 27th June 2025. To enter your photo you must follow Mako Pet Supplies via Instagram (@mako_pet_supplies) and fill out the form on the Canine Community Website and then email over your photo to digitaldesignswithliv@gmail.com. You can only enter once per order and you are limited to only using the code once.
Judging, Results and Prizes
Your Photos will of course be then judged by an independent person with no connection to the Canine Community so it is as fair as possible. We then have 3 prizes for the Top 3 winners!
1st Place Prize: £25 site credit for Mako Pet Supplies
2nd Place Prize: Reserved for the Dog Pillow & a Treat Bag
3rd Place Prize: Treat Bag
Extra Information and Checklist
We would love to see you all showing off your orders using #pawsforthemakocamera and tag @mako_pet_supplies & @thecaninecommunity.
The competition opens on the 1st June 2025 and closes at Midnight on the 27th June 2025. You can only enter once per order and you are limited to only using the code once.
All refunds will be processed after the competition has ended on 27/06/2025 and you will be informed when entry of your picture is received to let you know whether you have received a full refund excluding delivery charges (up to the amount of £15) or a 50% refund excluding delivery charges (up to the amount of £15). Please allow 3 Working Days after the competitions close on 27/06/2025 to be processed.

Terms & Conditions
Eligibility:
The competition is open to people aged 18 and over and live within the UK.
Entry Period:
The competition opens on 01/06/2025 and closes at Midnight on the 27/06/2025. Entries submitted after this time will not be accepted. The Exclusive Discount code will be active from 26/05/2025 and will finish at Midnight on 23/06/2025.
How to enter:
You can only enter one time per order and the code is limited to being used on one order only. You will need to follow Mako Pet Supplies via Instagram (@mako_pet_supplies).
To complete your entry you need to have sent your photo to the email digitaldesignswithliv@gmail.com.
Content Guidelines:
Your photo must include your Mako Pet Supplies order. Your entry cannot contain offensive or inappropriate content. Mako and Canine Community reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet these standards.
Refund Information:
All refunds will be processed after the competition has ended on 27/06/2025 and you will be contacted to let you know whether you have received a full refund excluding delivery charges (up to the amount of £15) or a 50% refund excluding delivery charges (up to the amount of £15). Please allow 3 Working Days after the competitions close on 27/06/2025 to be processed.
Judging and winner selection:
This competition will be judged by someone who is completely impartial and will only be provided with the photo's and the category description to make their decision. Winners will be notified by 30/06/2025 via email from digitaldesignswithliv@gmail.com and also announced on instagram via “maeve_thecockerspaniel23” & “mako_pet_supplies”.
Prizes:
The top 3 places will receive a prize and these are non-transferable & cannot be exchanged for cash.
Rights & Usage:
By entering you are giving permission for the photos you submit to be used by the Canine Community and Mako Pet Supplies for social media and website purposes.
Liability:
Mako and Canine Community are not responsible for any lost entries and you will be sent an acknowledgment email after submitting your photo to notify you we have your entry.
Privacy:
Personal data will be used solely for the administration of the competition and to allow refunds to be processed and will not be passed on to any other third parties.
